In her first sit down chat, Coleen talks openly and honestly about going solo - both in her personal and professional life. And after losing her sister, and enduring the breakdown of her second marriage, Coleen is facing the next major step in her life - and has decided to take it alone.

Coleen Nolan has returned to social media for the first time since leaving Loose Women earlier this month.

The 53-year-old decided to quit ITVs daytime talk show after receiving immense backlash for an uncomfortable interview with Kim Woodburn.

Breaking her silence for the first time in weeks, Coleen posted a meme on Twitter on Thursday, which read: Change your life, transform your life. It was written over a beautiful image of the sun setting over an ocean.

Last week, Coleen retweeted a message from friend, Melanie Blake, who said: Heard @NolanColeen laugh today for the first time in what seems like ages… it was a lovely moment #TeamColeen.

Coleen has not been pictured since 7 September, when she was seen looking extremely downcast while out on a shopping trip in Wilmslow. Realising that photographers were capturing her every move, Coleen put her hood up and looked down as she walked into a store.

Announcing her immediate hiatus from Loose Women after 18 years non-consecutively, Coleen said in a statement: Following the constant online bullying, trolling, and misrepresentation of her words, actions and re-actions, it is with sad regret that Coleen is taking an immediate hiatus from her current commitments including Loose Women and postponing her Never Too Late solo concert tour.

The statement continued: Coleen is devastated to let her supporters and fans down, but is currently not strong to withstands this constant and unfounded online abuse, so she will be taking time out and spending it with her children and family where she feels loved and respected.
