Stacey Dash is secretly married to a lawyer.

The 51-year-old actor – who is best known for her role as Dionne Davenport in 90s cult film Clueless – is said to have wed with Jeffrey Marty 10 days after meeting him.

Page Six reports that sources claim the star met Marty after she withdrew from her campaign for Congress in California in April.

Staceys manager Kerry Jones confirmed to the publication that the pair indeed married but kept tight-lipped on how or when they met.

The rep also refused to explain the secrecy, as she said: They wanted it on the D.L. [down low].

The actor, also well known for her controversial comments, ended her short-lived bid for a seat in Californias 44th congressional district in March.

The fired Fox News commentator announced the news with a statement posted on Twitter – however, people were not sympathetic.

She wrote: After much prayer, introspection and discussions with my family, I am withdrawing my candidacy for Californias 44th Congressional District.

The star said she is still determined to improve the lives of people who have been forgotten for decades by the Democratic Party.

The statement went on: At this point, I believe that the overall bitterness surrounding our political process, participating in the rigors of campaigning, and holding elected office would be detrimental to the health and wellbeing of my family.

Her post on her social media page also touched on the negativity and backlash she received during her time working on Fox News.

She wrote that the real controversy is how the 44th district officials have allowed decades of government corruption and political disempowerment.

Stacey, the cousin to Damon Dash, concluded the letter by admitting, Deciding to withdraw by candidacy was a difficult choice, but I have to go where I feel God is leading me.

The people of Twitter were less than heartbroken about her withdrawal from the race:

Stacey Dash dropped out of her congressional race…I'm assuming when they told her she'd be lucky if one person voted for her…she opted to do Dancing With The Stars instead?
