Celebrity Big Brother star Dan Osborne has addressed his toxic relationship with the mother of his son and admits to being embarrassed over his past behaviour.
In Saturday nights episode of the Channel 5 series, Dan, 27, opened up to Psychic Sally Morgan about his former relationship with Megan Tomlin.
A tape recording emerged in 2014 of the former TOWIE stars argument with Megan, who is mother of his four-year-old son Teddy. During the argument, Dan is heard threatening to stick a knife in Megan which prompted a police investigation.
Although no legal action was taken against Dan, he was subsequently fired from TOWIE.
The tattoo parlour owner is now married to former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa and they share two daughters, Ella, three, and two-month-old Mia.
Dan told Sally: So my little boy is with my ex-partner and then my two girls are with my wife. My ex who I had my little boy with, our relationship was just like a toxic relationship. We were young and it was just a horrible relationship.
Addressing the tape which was leaked to the media, Dan explained: And I got angry, just like everyone does, and just said stupid things and I was being recorded.
I mean, I said stupid things. I take full responsibility of it and you learn from your mistakes. Obviously I never meant one word of it and its horrible, its embarrassing now even, I hate it.
Needless to say, Dan became a tabloid villain after the recording surfaced and hit rock bottom.

Reflecting on the situation, the TV star said: I lost everything from that. I was in a real bad place and my career was done. Everything. Got sacked from the show I was on. And I had a baby and then I had to go to court to be able to see him and stuff and got that all sorted. Yeah, I was in a bad, bad place back then. Really bad, depression and everything. Yeah, it was horrible.
Dans marriage to Jacqueline is also said to be on the rocks following false claims he cheated on the actress with Gabby Allen, who is also in the CBB house this year. Dan and Jacqueline were seen spending time together as a family with their daughters before his appearance on the reality series but they are still thought to be separated.
CBB continues on Channel 5
