Treyarch has unveiled their zombie-themed update for last years Call Of Duty, with a giant-sized version of Nuketown and multiple other new maps.
Its barely more than three months before the Modern Warfare reboot is released and we still know very little about it, compared to any other Call Of Duty game at this stage in the year.
But while the new game remains shrouded in mystery last years game, Black Ops 4, is about to get another major new update, in the form of Operation Apocalypse Z.
Developer Treyarch has been hinting about something zombie-related for a few days now, with new objects and background details showing up in battle royale mode Blackout, but the new content is more substantial than many expected.
The changes will affect all three modes, with Zombies getting a new campaign called Alpha Omega, which involves Primas and Ultimas versions of previous characters teaming up in a revamped version of the iconic Nuketown map.
The new map is apparently 400% larger than the original, with a secret underground laboratory called Broken Arrow thats full of prototype weapons, including the Ray Gun Mk 2.

The standard multiplayer mode will get three new maps, starting with a large snow-covered map called Der Schatten (which translates as The Shadow) thats set near the castle from Der Eisendrache.
Remnant takes place in the Museum of Unnatural History and includes museum exhibits based on a number of previous Zombies maps, such as the diner from TranZit and a section of the Moon.
And then theres Havana, which is, obviously, set in Cuba and doesnt really have anything to do with zombies – except for whats showing at the in-game cinema.
As well as new maps theres also a new Specialist to play as: a robot named Reaper who has a giant machinegun and can short out everyones mini-map.
Plus, theres a new Party Game called Sticks and Stones, where youre armed only with an explosive crossbow, ballistic knife, and combat axe – but where a kill with the axe zeroes your opponents score. Updated versions of Gun Game, with the ballistic knife as the final weapon, and Infected are also promised for slightly later in the year.
The changes for Blackout are particularly substantial, with the main map getting a new option called Quads Fog that has mist so thick it greatly reduces visibility.
The standard playlists will feature a toned-down version of the fog, but all will include various zombie-themed set dressings such as boarded up windows and great splashes of blood everywhere.
