Ariana Grande has her loyal fans worried after she posted a series of messages to her social media on Thursday.

Suggesting nothing will ever be okay her followers immediately scrambled to tell the superstar – whose ex-boyfriend Mac Miller died earlier this month – that was not the case, and they were here for her.

She asked for just one day, pls before telling her 57.8million followers she was so fucking tired.

can i pls have one okay day. just one. Pls, she wrote, before adding, Im so fucking tired, pls. [sic]

Followers immediately replied, as they let the 24-year-old know they were there for her.

They urged her to listen to her previous comments that everything will be okay, posted on 22 September

However, after it was pointed out, she retracted her earlier comments from last week as a joke.

Continuing with the startling status updates, she added, before deleting: Nothing will ever b ok…dats the truth. Luv u.

However perhaps noticing the outpouring of love she was receiving, Ari added: [thank you] for loving me [so much] I do not deserve it.

One fan replied: Take ur time w everything and just concentrate on u. we will be right here waiting. love u forever [sic].

It comes after Ariana was taking things one day at a time following the death of Mac, which came not long after the first anniversary of the Manchester attacks when 22 of Arianas concert-goers died in a terror attack at Manchester Arena after she performed a show on her Dangerous Woman tour last year.

Ariana has been spotted in public recently but decided not to attend the Emmys earlier this week with her fiance, Pete Davidson, also opting to skip the red carpet event.

A spokesperson for the pop star announced: Contrary to reports, Ariana will not be attending the Emmys tonight.

Pete has also opted to not attend to be with her in New York. Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend.

Ariana broke her silence days after his passing to pay an emotional tribute to her ex-boyfriend, who died in September.

The God Is A Woman singer said: I adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i cant believe you arent here anymore. i really cant wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. im so mad, im so sad i dont know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else.
