When she said Thank U, Next, what she meant to say was Thank U, but no Thank U.

Because Ariana Grande has stated her intention to stay single for the duration of 2019, or her life, whatever.

Following one ill-fated engagement and the end of another unhealthy long-term relationship last year, the 25-year-old has confirmed that she doesnt plan to date again for a long time.

Responding to fans asking, Who is Ariana dating now? on New Years Day, the hitmaker humorously tweeted in reply: Can they tell me too?

Hinting at something of a New Years resolution on boys, the hitmaker said on the first day of the year: Spoiler for the rest of this year / probably my life: its no one. please refer back to this tweet for future questions.

Ariana ended 2018 with two chart-topping songs that summed up her unlucky year in love.

Upbeat bounce-back track Thank U, Next was a dedication to all her ex-boyfriends and screamed a giant eff you to most recent ex Pete Davidson.

The pair called off their engagement in October, four months after he proposed only weeks after meeting each other in May.

Then she released heartbreaking break-up ballad Imagine, which fans believe was written about late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who was tragically found dead at his home in September.

Ariana and Mac had ended their toxic relationship last May after roughly two years of being on-and-off.

And last month, the No Tears Left To Cry singer called 2018 the worst year of her life, saying goodbye you fuck when she signed off on New Years Eve.

Ariana told the audience at Billboards Woman Of The Year in December: This has been one of the best years in my career and one of like the worst years in my life.

She added: As far as my personal life goes I really have no idea what the fuck I am doing. So yeah, its been a very conflicting one.
