Forster passed away in Los Angeles on Friday surrounded by his family, his long-time publicist Kathie Berlin told CNN. The 78-year-old was diagnosed with cancer in June.His acting career spanned more than five decades, and he was best known for his roles in "Reflections in a Golden Eye" and "Medium Cool." He also got a best supporting actor Oscar nomination for his role as a bail bondsman in Quentin Tarantino's "Jackie Brown," Berlin said.More recently, Forster starred in the film "El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie" that premiered on Netflix Friday night.Robert Forster was born in Rochester, New York on July 13, 1941.
