Eddie Murphy revealed Sexual Chocolate will return for Coming To America sequel and we are absolutely thrilled.

Were getting more of Randy Watson, ladies and gentlemen!

The 58-year-old – who played main character Prince Akeem in the first film – confirmed the news at Toronto International Film Festival.

He made a rare public appearance at the annual bash to promote new flick, Dolemite Is My Name – opting for the casual look in a hoodie – but chat inevitably touched on the eagerly-anticipated sequel.

Speaking about the movie, he told LA Times: Randy Watson and the band Sexual Chocolate will be in this new Coming To America, and Reverend Brown, and some new characters. Its going to be real funny, and beautiful.

Of all the movies Ive done, that one has worked its way into the culture in a unique way. And were making the sequel now and Craig [Brewer] is directing it. I couldnt be happier.

Everyone else from the original movie [is returning], and James Earl Jones. I will tell you that the way we connect the dots is clever, and itll all make sense, youll have a nice, funny, beautiful story. Coming To America is like a modern funny fairytale and were continuing that.

While he wouldnt let slip of any more details, Eddie insisted: You will not come and see the movie and be like, “I wish they didnt make it”. Its going to be the exact opposite.

Viewers will watch as Akeem comes to America once again, in a bid to track down his long-lost son, Lavelle, who grew up in Queens.

Eddie is producing the sequel, alongside Kenya Barris, and will be joined by everyone from the original movie, including James Earl Jones (Jaffe Joffer) and Arsenio Hall – who played his best friend Semmi in the original film.

And they have been joined on set by Leslie Jones and Wesley Snipes, who will be starring as General Izzi.

Lifting the lid on his character, the Blade actor admitted hell be playing a bad guy, getting us a little worried for Prince Akeem.

Ill be playing the bad guy. Hes not really a bad guy, hes just a misunderstood guy. His name is General Izzi, and he is the General who is next door to him, he told Hey U Guys.

Theyre trying to work it out so that the two kingdoms can come together. It would be better for everyone if the kingdoms can come together.
