PUBG Mobile Season 8 release date is drawing close with developers Tencent already starting to tease the upcoming season of content.
A tweet from the company at the weekend read: "Are you ready to party on with PUBG MOBILE this summer? Season 8 Royale Pass is coming with new missions, new rewards, and a lot of new fun!"
The colourful looking image (which can be seen below) should inject some fun into a game that's spent the last few weeks being all broody and focussed around the Godzilla King of the Monsters tie-in
Thankfully, we shouldn't have to wait too much longer for the launch of PUBG Mobile Season 8, especially since PUBG Mobile Season 7 officially ended on July 14 (yesterday).
According to Game Revolution, it's likely we could see Season 8 dropping in the next two days "if the new season follows previous trends".
The site then goes on to suggest that the PUBGSeason 8 release date could drop at some point between July 15-17.
As you can tell from the above statement, there's no official details yet confirming when the next update or download will drop, but at the very least it's good to know it'll arrive in the coming days this week.
We also have a fairly substantial idea of what changes are going to be implemented in the coming season thanks to the release of the games PUBG Mobile 0.13.5 update.
Those lucky enough to be playing the games beta have already had an inside look at the new content which seems to have a "Power of the Ocean" theme to everything.
Though the game is yet to roll out to the wider playerbase, dataminers have already shared plenty of screenshots showing what's included in the new PUBG Mobile Royale Pass.
This, of course, includes new player outfits, new weapons, new avatar frames. The list goes on and on for those looking to take a sneak peek.
One of the more interesting new additions will be the PP-19 submachine gun, available on Erangel and Vikendi maps.
