Final Fantasy VII Remake has been named as the best game of E3 2019, while also picking up awards for Best Console Game and Best RPG.

Doom Eternal was the only other game to get more than two awards, winning Best PC Game and Best Action Game.

The awards are judged by a range of video game critics from around the world, of which we were one, but with the exception of the special commendation awards are only handed out to playable games

Square Enix was the only publisher to win three awards, with Bethesda and Activision both picking up two – the latter for Crash Team Racing as Best Racing Game and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare for Best Online Multiplayer.
