This years Call Of Duty has finally been announced and as rumoured its a reboot, thats due out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 25.

Or at least it seems to be a reboot, neither the trailer nor the official blurb uses the word but instead describes it merely as an all-new title, with unofficial sources claiming it takes place in a brand-new story universe.

What we do know for sure is that the game has an epic single-player story, an action-packed multiplayer playground, and new cooperative gameplay – with no mention of battle royale or last years Blackout mode.

That may come later but what definitely isnt in the game is a traditional season pass, which is a big change for Call Of Duty.

Second, were eliminating the traditional season pass, so that we can deliver more free maps and content as well as post-launch events to all players. This is just the beginning – theres much more to come.
