Microsofts new Forza racing game wont be coming to Xbox but it is planned for iOS and Android later in the year.
No matter what other problems Microsoft has had this generation the Forza series, both Motorsport and Horizon, has been a rock for them – with last years Forza Horizon 4 being one of the best exclusives on any format.
Going by the usual schedule youd expect Forza Motorsport 8 to be out this year but if its not announced at E3 in June then at least there will be one new Forza game out this year, just not on Xbox.
Forza Street has just been announced for Windows 10 device, iOS, and Android, and as you might imagine is designed as a portable-only version of the franchise.
Although the smartphone versions will have to wait until later in the year the Windows 10 version is out now and available free from the Microsoft store.
The gameplay seems fairly basic compared to the regular games, with purposefully streamlined controls, so Xbox owners neednt feel theyre missing out on too much.
But its set in Miami and has is own endless story mode and the incentive to collect as many cars as possible. Being a free-to-play game it also has in-app purchases.
