Wolfenstein: Youngblood – fighting Nazis runs in the family

Bethesdas co-op spin-off for Wolfenstein is coming out this summer and theres a new trailer to prove it.

Its been a while since weve heard anything new on Wolfenstein: Youngblood, after it was announced at last years E3, but now we have the best news possible: its out (relatively) soon.

As the trailer below shows the game will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 26 July this year.

The game is set in the 1980s of the franchises alternative history timeline, which is further along than any entry so far.

It doesnt star series mainstay B.J. Blazkowicz though, but his two daughters who are investigating his mysterious disappearance – which leads them to Nazi-occupied Paris.

The game is being developed by MachineGames, who did the last two games, and Arkane Studios Lyon, who worked on the Dishonored series.

Although its designed to be a co-op game it can still be played alone, with a computer-controlled ally taking over from a real human.

The Deluxe Edition also has a genuinely useful extra feature: a pass to let any friend play with you even if they dont own the game.
