FIFA 19 Team of the Year: Kane, Pogba, Van Dijk and more to star in FIFA's Ultimate XI?FIFA 19 (Pic: EA SPORTS)

FIFA 19 TOTY is set to be revealed later today, with all fans of the game across PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC eager to discover which of the 55 Nominee's have made it into the Team of the Year Ultimate XI.

Voting officially closed over the weekend on Saturday, but even with such a large number of sites, such as Futhead, Futwiz and numerous YouTuber's allowing their community to vote on the FIFA 19 Team, ultimately, EA Sports has the biggest say.

Like last year, EA Sports has decided that the final decision will be made based on the ballot votes, which account for 60 per cent of the total vote, with the remaining 40% of the vote cast by EA SPORTS.

Either way, we should discover later today which eleven players have made it into the FIFA 19 Team of the Year.

This was confirmed last week when the official EA Sports FIFA Twitter account told fans:

“The #TOTY Ballot Boxes have been sent out, the 11 winners will be revealed January 7! #TOTYVote #FUT #FIFA19”.

Exactly when EA Sports will reveal the team hasn't been announced, however, we would suspect that they'll stick to their usual schedule for these sorts of events and big new FUT pack releases.

Typically the announcement is made at 3pm GMT (UK Time) with the new FUT cards rolling out on PS4, Xbox, Switch, PC and the FIFA 19 Web App at around 6pm GMT.

Although the TOTY nominees were announced at 2pm last week, this was probably due to the reveal not clashing with the normal FIFA 19 TOTW Squad announcement.

It's worth noting that whilst the TOTY was revealed in stages last year, starting with the Goalkeeper and defenders, followed by midfielders then attackers, it sounds as though EA Sports will instead reveal the whole team in one go.

Quite why EA Sports will do it this way, isn't clear, however, we wouldn't be surprised if they have a few extra surprises lined up throughout the week to make things interesting.

Maybe new FUT Packs, or some special SBC's to obtain some of the cards we've already seen revealed in the nominations.

Either way, stay tuned to Daily Star and the FIFA 19 Twitter account around 3pm in the afternoon.

In addition, keep reading for a few quick predictions on who might make the FIFA 19 Ultimate XI, a reminder of the 55 nominees, details of a possible FIFA 19 FUT Market Crash and also a fond look back at who made the team in FIFA 18.

FIFA 19 TOTY Market Crash

It's pretty obvious, but every FIFA 19 player will want these very special new cards for their Ultimate Team squad.

However, the only way players can go about doing that is through the market or pulling it from a pack when it is available.

Because of this, there should be an influx of pack openings from FIFA 19 players, which should increase the supply of cards on the FUT transfer market.

So, at some point, we should expect to see a market crash in the game with prices for some top tier players spiralling as players offload their unwanted FUT cards.

For some further advice though, we would certainly suggest watching Chu Boi's video above, which explains not just his predictions for FIFA 19 TOTY but also how players can best prepare for the TOTY release.
