Demi Lovato has wished her fans a happy Thanksgiving.
The Sober singer checked into a Malibu rehab facility this summer after suffering a suspected drug overdose at her Los Angeles home in July.
Since then, Demi, 26, is said to have been successful in remaining sober and sources now say shes had a social media cleanse, meaning the likes of Selena, Nick and rapper Iggy Azalea have allegedly been given the chop.
Now she has reached out to her fans on social media to send a sweet message on Thanksgiving Day (22 October).
Taking to Instagram Stories to share a picture of her festive meal, the chart-topping star wrote: Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!! (sic)
Demi has relatively absent from social media and has made the drastic move of unfollowing some of her closest friends, Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas to focus fully on her sobriety.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that Demi is determined to focus on herself to avoid any difficult relationships that could risk the possibility of a relapse.
The insider claimed: She needs to surround herself with those that support her goals and to stay away from any negativity. Demi has come a very long way.
Shes grown emotionally and matured a great deal through this process. She realises there is no quick fix and has accepted the fact she needs to take this one day at a time. She still has a sober companion and she has built a very strong support group.
Selena, 26, is reported to have entered rehab herself in October to receive treatment for a psychiatric breakdown, which perhaps could explain Demi distancing herself.
Since leaving rehab in October, Demi has been working with a sober coach who has encouraged her to eat healthy, work out and surround herself with positive influence, hence her close friendship with fashion designer Henry Levy.
The source said of the pairs friendship: Demi and Henry still talk every day. He is one of her biggest supporters. They are really close, but they are truly just friends. Demi is nowhere near ready to be in a relationship, her focus is following the program.
