Police arrested Smallville actress Allison Mack on Friday for her role as the primary co-conspirator with the leader of the alleged sex cult Nxivm.
Mack was last seen in Mexico, looking shocked and confused over the arrest of cult leader Keith Raniere, according to video obtained by The Sun. The police report of Ranieres arrest states that she subsequently chased after him and the police at high speeds with at least two other women who are believed to be some of Ranieres sex slaves. Mack is scheduled to appear in federal court in Brooklyn on Friday, according to Page Six.
Raniere, who police arrested March 25 for forced labor and sex trafficking, is alleged to have lured women into joining his cult, blackmailed them with compromising photos, branded his initials into them, and forced them to be his sex slaves. The federal criminal complaint against Raniere lists Mack as Co-Conspirator 1 and alleges that she rose through the ranks of the cult after becoming a sex slave and then recruited other actresses to join. She also allegedly served as a “master” to the other slaves and forced them to hand over compromising photos as collateral after luring them into the cults inner circle, known as “The Vow.” (RELATED: Two Smallville Actresses Allegedly Caught Up In Sex Cult)
Mack also allegedly forced the women in the cult to perform “readiness drills” to train them to comply with requests at any time, day or night. She allegedly ordered them not to remove pubic hair and made them adhere to a restrictive diet to maintain low weight. Many of the women were extremely sleep deprived, according to the complaint, and one women was so tired and undernourished that she stopped having her period.
Both Raniere and Mack face a minimum of 15 years in prison and a maximum of life in prison.
