Khloe Kardashian revealed that she was pregnant with her first child just two weeks ago, but now the floodgates have opened and she is more than happy to chat baby with everyone.
Yes, since announcing the good news, Khloe has been revealing a few deets on her pregnancy, telling Ellen DeGeneres that she hasn’t decided whether to keep to Kardashian tradition and go with a ‘K’ name, or break away from the Kardashi-norm and go with a ‘T’ name – presumably after boyfriend, baby daddy and fellow alliterative nameholder, Tristan Thompson.
She also revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live about the moment she found out she was withchild.
‘Tristan kept saying: “You’re pregnant,” because I was nauseous and not feeling well,’ she recalled. ‘But then he had to leave the country and I took a pregnancy test.
‘I was screaming, it was so surreal. I had my trusty assistant [buy the test,] so Alexa my assistant, Tristan and I were the only ones that knew for a few weeks until I was able to tell my family.’
And her dedication to the show is real, as she tells Kimmel that she actually told the crew of Keeping Up With The Kardashians before she even told her family, so that they could capture the beautiful moment on camera.
She had previously revealed that her pregnancy would feature on the series, replying to a fan who asked on Twitter: ‘Yes! It all happened during production so yes! Super cool to have that documented.’
But no one was fully aware of her true dedication to catching her family’s reaction IRL.
‘Because Tristan was out of the country, we wanted to wait to tell everybody together,’ she added. ‘It’s actually all caught on Keeping Up [With The Kardashians], which I’m excited about because my family get to see all the stuff I was going through without them knowing.
‘I told the crew before them, but I’ve known the crew since 2007. We’ve had pretty much the same crew and they’ve been involved in the best and worst times of our lives, and they keep quiet.’
And since announcing her pregnancy she’s been inundated with advice from mothers about how to handle being a first-time mum – including from sister Kourtney, which has lead to some fights between the two usually close siblings.
‘She’s like: “You can never have a plastic toy, ever!” I’m like: “If someone buys fucking blocks, I’m allowed to have blocks.” Let me experience things.
‘It’s either her way or no way. We’ve been fighting a lot lately and we never fight.’
